Tim Holtz Big Frights Pinkween!

Tim Holtz Big Frights Pinkween!

Posted by Misty Lavigne on

Hi everyone! It's Misty here from @TheJollyFatElf I'm here today to share with you a Pinkween card. Yes, Pinkween! Halloween decor done in all pinks. Instagram introduced me to the concept and I knew that I wanted to translate it into a card!

I'm using the Big Frights from the new Tim Holtz Halloween release! These dies are awesome. I love how big the font is and I love that you have the optional background die as well! I also used the new Sizzix Thinlit Dies with Stamps Spooky Friend Set I love that these friends come coordinating sentiments. The dies are very detailed and that enables you to really customize their appearance!

I created a fun background using a variety of Distress Oxides and the Lawn Fawn Nighttime Sky Stencil. I used Spun Sugar as the base of my moon and clouds. Next, I used Worn Lipstick for the details on the moon. I finished with Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry for the over all background blending. Does anyone else want to call it Pickled Raspberry? I do it every time!

I love the plaid accent in Dracula's hair! I finished it all off with a little bit of shimmer!

What do you think of Pinkween? Have you heard of it? I love this fun take on a scary card! Be sure to check out the video to see it all come together!
