Birthday Card Featuring Lawn Fawn's Yappy Birthday Add-on

Posted by Andrea Shell on

Hi there! It's Andrea with you today, and I'm sharing a fun birthday card featuring Lawn Fawn's Yappy Birthday Add-on stamp and die sets.

I started by stamping all of those cute images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored them with my Copics (colors listed below). Afterwards, I diecut everything with the coordinating dies.

I created a simple background by ink-blending with Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks. I then added spatters of water and white paint for interest. I diecut Lawn Fawn's Celebrate Backdrop die from white cardstock and purple glitter paper and adhered the two frames together. I adhered the frame to my background with strips of narrow foam tape and affixed the panel to a white card with double-sided adhesive.

I arranged my colored images inside the frame, affixing them with thin foam squares and attaching the hats with liquid adhesive. I used a black pen to add strings for the balloons. I heat-embossed a sentiment from the Yappy Birthday Add-on set and glued it to the frame.
Thanks for stopping by!

  • I love this new set by Lawn Fawn. The birthday puppies make cards to happy and I love the die cut background that adds a bit of pizzazz to a birthday card too!
