Lawn Fawn Make A Pawsome Wish

Lawn Fawn Make A Pawsome Wish

Posted by Misty Lavigne on

H friends! It's Misty here from  @TheJollyFatElf  In today's video, I'm sharing a fun card using the new Pawsome Birthday Stamp and Die set along with the Big Make A Wish die from Lawn Fawn. I started by coloring our cute pup using Copic markers. Rather than color his box, I decided to paper piece using the same pattern of paper that I used for the sentiment die.

For the sentiment, I love layering various colors and patterns of dies like this to add a bit of a drop shadow. The bottom layer is the striped pattern, the middle a plain navy and the top is that fun blue. I couldn't help but add the word pawsome from the stamp set.

I created a shaker frame using the Large Stitched Rectangle dies also from Lawn Fawn and some fun pattern paper from my stash. I'm normally a dragon and hoard all my paper. However, I've made it a mission to use some of it up! I really love this color scheme! I used up some left over drills from a few diamond paintings in the shaker.

This pupper is cute and I love his party hat! Be sure to check out the YouTube video!

Have a great day!

Misty

  • I really liked how this die was used to make a shaker card. Excellent idea!
