Mermaid For You by Lynn

Mermaid For You by Lynn

Instructions:

To create my card I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set Mermaid for You along with the coordinating Mermaid for You dies. For my background, I blended some tumbled glass, cracked pistachio, broken china and a little picked raspberry distress oxide ink using a wave stencil. After that I watered down some white craft paint and added some spatters. I used the Peekaboo Backdrop die and die cut it from some mint card stock. Along the bottom of my die cut Peekaboo Backdrop piece I blended on some cracked pistachio and Lucky Clover distress oxide ink. The sentiment, smaller seaweed and bubbles are from the Seahorsin’ Around stamp set and dies and I stamped the sentiment onto a Simple Wavy Banners. For the sandy ocean bottom, I used the Stitched Hillside Borders Die and some kraft card stock. For the other fish I used the stamp sets You Are Sublime and dies and Fintastic Friends and dies and I colored all of my images with Copic markers. I added some white gel pen highlights to my images and glued on some iridescent sequins to my background.
