Welcome back to the blog! It’s Deepa from @deezinesbyd, and today I’m sharing a warm, festive holiday card featuring the Mansard Roof, Wrapped Up City Holiday, and Holiday Hugs Sentiments add-on sets paired with the City Holiday Die set from Spellbinders!

What I love most about this collection is how effortlessly these Spellbinders sets transform simple die-cuts into a delightfully festive city scene. The City Holiday die set and its coordinating add-ons give you so many versatile elements that do all the heavy lifting for your focal points. For this card, I paired a classic black-and-white polka dot background with a rich coral multi-story building topped with a deep green mansard roof, packed with glowing window details and festive holiday touches.

One of my absolute favorite details on this card is a fun design feature: layering a sparkling champagne glitter ivy garland cascading down the roofline and right side of the building! Instead of a plain facade, this glittery accent frames the streetlamp and adds instant texture and shine that makes the entire scene pop off the card.
To kick things off, I die-cut all the structural pieces for the multi-story building, including the coral exterior walls, the dark green front door, warm glowing window backings, and that classic deep green mansard roof. I also prepped all the sweet seasonal accessories—from the pastel mint Christmas tree and tiny stacked gifts to the oversized mint green bow!
The scene construction is where all the magic happens! I layered the assembled building over the crisp polka dot pattern base, then arranged the festive holiday elements all around. I placed the decorated Christmas tree by the entrance, added a tiny wreath to the dark green door, set out the holiday gifts on the ground floor, and mounted the big mint bow front and center. Then came the best part—draping that shimmering glitter ivy down the right wall to add dynamic dimension across the entire design.
For the sentiment, I added a clean white sentiment strip across the lower right window display that reads "Holiday HUGS FROM HOME," providing the perfect sweet anchor amidst all the holiday action!
To bring it all together, those shimmering glitter textures and warm window glows tie all the festive elements together for a polished, eye-catching finish. 💎✨
