No Stamping Floral Card (with Sizzix) by Farhana

Happy Monday crafty friends! I hope that you are having a great start to the week! If not, make sure to sneak in some crafty time! Farhana from Everyday Engineered here today to share a fun floral card with you, this time with NO stamping or coloring! So story time; I did try to color, first round I die cut all the images from white cardstock and tried coloring with copic markers, it was a fail! Then I tried using distress oxide inks, which was another fail as most of the die cuts are tiny! So then I dug into my stash of colored card stock, and finally used some of them!

To create this card :

1. I started by choosing my color scheme for the card. I used the image on the cover of the Layered Summer Flowers as a guide.

2. I die cut all the pieces and glued the layers together to create the individual flowers and leaves (I die cut some of them twice).

3. Next I dry embossed a sheet of A2 cardstock in blue using the Geometric Lines Background stencil.

4. Lastly, to keep this a “no stamping” card, I die cut and stacked the “hello” from the Darling Dahlias die cuts to create the sentiment. I added all the die cuts to the card front using liquid adhesive and foam tape to add a little dimension.

Thanks for following along today! I hope that this card inspires you to create something!

Till the next time, take care!

Farhana
