My name is Deepa from @deezinesbyd and I’m excited to share a unique fun-fold card using products from Pinkfresh Studio including the Timeless Tulips Suite.
I chose to use some deep blues and purples with a pop of pink on my Timeless Tulips image. I was hoping to create a whimsical look with these unconventional colors on this card. The Pinkfresh Studio suite gives you the option to use the stamp, press plates or foiling with the press plates to create your outline of the tulips. I used some Spellbinders champagne foil and the press plates to foil my image. To see how this card came together, simply click the ScrapbookPal YouTube link below.
I created a fun fold with this card which allowed me to have those small florals fall over the white panel of this card for a fun and unique look. I called it a waterfall fold in this video tutorial but it’s more like a double top fold. If you know the name of this one, please add it in the comments.
I added the Pinkfresh Fancy Edger to the bottom of the white cardstock flap along with a gold glitter strip behind to help the fancy edger stand out. I foiled the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips set on the same flap.
Finally, I assembled everything with a dark blue panel foiled in opal foil with the Twist Pattern Pinkfresh press plate in the background. And I added some Pinkfresh Studio ombre glitter drops in Starry Sky and Twilight. I hope this card has inspired you to create something similar yourself.
