Shake Your Tail Feathers! By Samantha

Shake Your Tail Feathers! By Samantha

To create this shaker card I began by stamping the peacock from the Lawn Fawn Peacock Before N Afters stamp set to a white card panel that measured 4" by 5.25" using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Below the peacock I stamped my sentiment, also in Memento Tuxedo Black.

I colored the peacock in using Spectrum Noir markers. I adhered this to a white A2 card base.

I cut a piece of patterned cardstock from the Bobunny Calendar Girl paper collection to create a frame. Over this I layered a second frame cut from gold glitter paper.

I applied foam tape all around my peacock panel.

I filled the well this created with brightly colored sequins and clear acrylic gems. I then removed the backing from the foam tape and applied a piece of acetate.

I adhered .25" thick Scor Tape all along the back of my frame, removed the tape backing, and placed my frame on top of the acetate.
