Sizzix Tim Holtz Vintage Sled Card

Sizzix Tim Holtz Vintage Sled Card

Posted by Charlene Madrid on

Hi crafty friends! Charlene here, from the design team. Today I am sharing how to create a gorgeous holiday card featuring the Sizzix Vintage Sled dies! Check out the video tutorial below for all of the details!
To create my card I used the Sizzix Vintage Sled dies, Sizzix Holiday Knit embossing folder, and Sizzix Festive Sentiments stamps.
Sizzix - Tim Holtz - Thinlits Dies - Vintage Sled
First, I die cut and assembled the Sizzix Vintage Sled using several different colors of cardstock. To create a woodgrain look on the sled planks, I used two different shades of Copic Markers on white cardstock.
Next, I heat embossed my sentiment from the Sizzix Festive Sentiments stamps onto a blue card base using white embossing powder. Then I embossed a piece of white cardstock using the Sizzix Holiday Knit embossing folder. I trimmed down the folder and glued it to my blue cardbase.
Then, to add dimension to the card, I popped the sled up on top of the embossed cardstock using Scrapbook Adhesives - 3D Foam Squares.

Lastly, I added white splatter to the front of the card to look like snow!

Happy crafting!
