DT Melanie back with you today from Melanie Smith Stamps. I have put together a fun tutorial for you today using the Spellbinders Classic Mouse Love Collection. I will be sharing with you how to use a rub-on as a focal on this quick and easy card, PLUS a super fun way to create an impactful background. Let's take a look...
Don't these colors just make you smile? As you can see in this first photo, our large focal on the front of our card is created with the Classic Mouse Rub-Ons from the Classic Mouse Love Collection. You get two full sheets of Rub On's in this package. I show you step by step how to do this in my video below.
Then we will die cut that out using the Everlasting Circles from Spellbinders and then sit that aside so we can work on this fabulous background.
For the background I have cut 15 colorful strips of patterned paper that coordinates with the rub-on perfectly from my stash and I used the Spellbinders Ribbon & Trim Die set to cut these out so we can create this perfectly striped background.
Here I have lots of the Pressed sentiments from the two Spellbinders BetterPress Sentiments from the Classic Mouse Love Collection, and we will create a birthday card with this one. Check out the video to see how I finished the inside of the card :-) One last look before I go...
