Spellbinders Happy Haunting Collection

Spellbinders Happy Haunting Collection

Posted by Sarah wyles on

Hi everyone!! Sarah, (Mother0froyalty on IG) here today to share a few cards I made using some new dies from Spellbinders, Happy Haunting collection. I really love both of these and the different things you can do with them. These here are my first pass at playing with them and they are so fun!!

I started by cutting everything out from different colors of cardstock. I put them in one of my many dishes to keep them separated where I could piece them together easily. I made sure to add a little shading with some distressed oxide to my pup before adding his ghosty outfit and set him aside and moved onto my witch and her background.

I had cut my witches back panel out of some white cardstock and the scored and Pierced rectangles from Spellbinders and then pulled quite a few distress oxides out to create my background. I blended my purples together and made it look like a glow around where my moon is. I layered my witches hat and her cute little heels, added her jack-o-lantern to her broom and added it to the card panel, after splattering a little water on my card panel.

Moving from my witch card to my pup, I ran my panel through my sizzix with the Splatter embossing folder, grabbed my black soot distress oxide and blended it around the center of my card until I was happy with it. This created a separation between my background my my ghosty pup. I stuck his trick-or-treat bucket next to him and added my sentiment below him.

I added my sentiment to my witch card too and that finished them both! I can't wait to play with both of these more and see the different things I can come up with! Make sure to check out the links below to grab the great dies, stamps and embossers!! And check out the Youtube channel too!
