Spellbinders Little Blooms

Spellbinders Little Blooms

Posted by Katherine Cartwright on

Hi there! This is Katherine sharing a card I made using the Spellbinders Little Blooms Dies from the Out and About Collection.

I began by blending several Distress Oxide inks onto watercolor card stock. After creating these panels, I sprayed them with a little bit of water and removed the water with a paper towel.

I used the following Distress Oxide Colors: Saltwater Taffy, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, Salty Ocean, Twisted Citron and Wild Honey.

After the card stock dried I die cut lots of flowers, leaves and stems from the paper.

I glued the flowers together adding in the center piece cut from brown card stock.

When I completed the flowers, I cut a purple frame using the Altenew Sparkled Frame.I glued the frame onto a piece of white card stock that had been embossed with the Spellbinders Columns Embossing Folder.

Once I decided the placement of my flowers in the frame, I began adhering them with Bearly Art Glue and 3L Thin Foam Adhesive Squares

The final touch included a Thank You cut from the Spellbinders Thank You Word die set. This set is a must have in your craft collection!

I used my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to add some shimmer to each flower.

Be sure you check out my video to see all the details!

Happy crafting!
