Super Star! Card

Super Star! Card

Posted by Kelly Ann Santi on

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a card using the adorable stamp set by Lawn Fawn called Super Star from ScrapbookPal!

These cute mice look like they are looking into the wonders of the sky. Here's how I made this card.

Step 1: First, I stamped the images from Super Star with Memento Tuxedo Ink and used the matching Lawn Cuts to die cut the images.

Step 2: I colored them with Copic markers available at ScrapbookPal and set those aside to create a bright background.

Step 3: I used 3 colors of Ranger Distress Oxides in Blueprint, Dried Marigold and Wilted Violet. I used the Mini Ink Blending Tool to create a gradient background.

Step 4: Additionally, I added white cardstock base over the top. I added a small piece of sand colored cardstock for the ground.

I used the Tombow Mono Adhesive to add the front white cardstock panel to the front and popped on the mice and telescope.

Step 5: Also, I popped up the stars to the sky and did a quick star emboss for a shooting star affect.

Step 6: Finally, I added a sentiment from the Super Star set and added foam to the back for dimension.

Thanks for stopping by ScrapbookPal today and I wish you a happy crafting day!
