Winter Card ft. Tim Holtz Colorize Dies by Katie Brooks

Winter Card ft. Tim Holtz Colorize Dies by Katie Brooks

Hey there friends, Katie here today with a fun card featuring Tim Holtz Colorize dies.  This card was super fun to make, these dies are amazing!  I love how the dies give you instructions on the back letting you know what color to use so you know which piece it is.  Anywho, here is my card:

First, I gathered all the cardstock shades I wanted to use for this card. Then I die cut the different pieces.  For the white, I used an opaque vellum as my second white.  I used some Mustard Seed Distress ink to color the belly because that is what penguins are like in nature.

I mounted all these layers together, loving how they fit together.  You don’t have to use the package if you don’t want to, I obviously didn’t. Then I used the Gina K stencil with a some Shaded Lilac Distress ink on a white base.

Then I used a sentiment form the Catherine Pooler stamped directly on the base.  I didn’t show this here, but I cut one layer of the scarf in purple and used the snowflake cut outs as snowflakes on my card, mounted with glue dots.

Lastly, I mounted my penguin using foam tape.  It is really a pretty simple card, you just have to put all the various pieces together.

I hope you enjoyed this card.  Thank you so much for visiting today!
