Altenew Build-a-Garden: Posh Petals

Altenew Build-a-Garden: Posh Petals

Posted by Melanie Smith on

Hello My Friends,

Welcome back to the Scrapbook Pal Blog. I am Melanie with Melanie Smith Stamps (@melaniesmithstamps) and today I am here to share a fun fresh card featuring the beautiful brand-new Build a Garden Posh Petals Collection by Altenew.

The first step in creating this card is stamping this gorgeous floral design and sentiment onto the front of an A2 card panel with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink, then heat embossing it with clear embossing powder. I decided for a heat emboss image today so I would end up with a nice bold crisp image.

Next using the coordinating stencils stencil each individual stencil using Pinkfresh Studio's Marigold, Bubblegum, and Grassy Knoll dye based inks carefully blending the pink and yellow inks together to create the 3 time floral images.

FULL TUTORIAL HERE:

Lastly attach coordinating enamel dots to your project and attach to a side folding card base to complete your card. Thank you for stopping by today to Craft Life with me. I hope you will pop on over to YouTube to visit the full length video tutorial and Craft Life Together with me even more. 🥰
