Spellbinders Country Christmas Collection

Spellbinders Country Christmas Collection

Posted by Colleen Beamish on

Hi there! I’m Colleen Beamish from @humorbean_cards, and today I’m excited to share a cozy winter card created with the Country Christmas Collection from Spellbinders.

This card features a cheerful Country Snowman and friends. The die‑cut pieces were so easy to assemble. They’d be perfect to mass‑produce for holiday cards or to mix and match on a variety of winter projects.

For the background, I used the Country Christmas 3D embossing folder to transform a simple piece of blue cardstock into something with incredible dimension and texture. I also die‑cut an oval and embossed it as well—but with a little extra twist! Before running the folder through my die‑cutting machine, I inked one side with Versamark. That left a sticky layer in the recessed areas, which I brushed with Perfect Pearls Pigment Powder. The result? A shimmery, pearlescent effect that really makes the embossed design pop.

To finish, I layered everything with foam tape for added depth and dimension.

If you’d like to see the entire process from start to finish, be sure to check out the video tutorial!

Happy crafting!
